The Pure Cruel and Disgusting Practices of Balihara Ranch Kennel: The Most Destitute Female in the kennel

by | Sep 5, 2024

Prepare to be shocked as we expose the disturbing reality behind a well-known Swiss Mountain Dog kennel, Balihara Ranch, run by a seemingly ethical breeder. Our investigation into her litters has revealed some truly appalling facts. In this blog post, we uncover the shocking truth about the kennel’s most overbred Bernese Mountain Dog female, who has been forced to give birth countless times under distressing conditions. Brace yourself as we reveal the grim details and the unsettling practices hidden within this kennel.

VOULEZ VOUS from Balihara Ranch, born on February 18, 2014, and accepted for breeding on October 5, 2015, could have been a happy dog, living with a loving family, going for walks, and playing with children or other dogs. Unfortunately, her fate was sealed when her mother, YASMIENNE from Balihara Ranch, gave birth to numerous puppies. The owner of Balihara Ranch chose VOULEZ VOUS for her breeding program, condemning her to a lifetime of giving birth due to her inherited perfect fertility. Unlike her mother, VOULEZ VOUS is at least mentioned on Balihara Ranch’s website.

VOULEZ VOUS received her first “puppy gift” the day before her second birthday on February 17, 2016, being mated at the very young age of 22 months. She did not disappoint the owner with her inherited fertility and gave birth to 9 puppies. But downtime is not acceptable at a puppy mill like Balihara Ranch. Despite the first large litter, she was pushed to the nearest possible litter, where on September 18, 2016, 11 more puppies were born to her after 7 months. She had only 3 months to rest between such large litters, considering that a female takes care of the puppies for 2 months and is pregnant for 2 months before the puppies are born.

Fortunately, even the very benevolent breeding rules of the Slovak Swiss Mountain Dog Club have their limits, so VOULEZ VOUS’s subsequent cycle was omitted.

However, with 20 puppies born, most kennels/breeders would have allowed VOULEZ VOUS to retire. But not at Balihara Ranch kennel. In her third litter, VOULEZ VOUS did not disappoint again and gave birth to 9 puppies on January 30, 2018.

A long break between litters is not forgiven at Balihara Ranch kennel, so VOULEZ VOUS was mated as soon as possible again. After 7 months, VOULEZ VOUS gave birth to the next 9 puppies on September 4, 2018, having only 3 months to recover between the rearing of the previous litter and the next mating. You count correctly: 6 cycles = 4 matings = 38 puppies!

This was followed by another compulsory skipping of the VOULEZ VOUS´s heat set by the club, which must have been a complete redemption for poor VOULEZ VOUS. But time was running fast, and this money machine needed to be restarted as soon as possible. After 10 months, VOULEZ VOUS performed her standard and gave birth to 9 puppies again on July 13, 2019.

And to make matters worse, in less than 8 months, 6 more puppies were born to her on March 1, 2020.

You counted correctly: 9 cycles = 6 matings = 53 puppies!

If you think this is the end of this abomination, you are very mistaken. After 11 months, VOULEZ VOUS had to correct her failure of a lower number of puppies in the previous litter and gave birth to 9 puppies again on January 31, 2021. Subsequently, the physically and mentally exhausted VOULEZ VOUS gave birth to her last 2 puppies after less than 7 months in the eighth litter on August 23, 2021.

The owner of Balihara Ranch made VOULEZ VOUS the most powerful machine for puppies, giving birth to 64 puppies in 8 litters over 5 and a half years of breeding! It is noteworthy that she used only 3 breeding dogs for this entire number of puppies: Nellyvill’s LESS IS MORE (29 puppies/3 litters), CREDO Eldegi (18 puppies/2 litters), and Du Réve Secret D’Oa RIESE (17 puppies/3 litters).

She tried to hide this whole disgusting story from the public by raising some of the puppies in her life partner’s kennel, Cursallagh´s.

However, the owner continues to breed. She kept VOULEZ VOUS´s daughter, FALLPALA from Balihara Ranch, with the vision of another money machine. Fallpala received a very poor rating at the Slovak Club Show 2022 in the youth class. We’ll see if she will carry on with the female FALLPALA’s unlimited puppy breeding at the Balihara Ranch kennel.

Message to the Breeder responsible for this abuse

Does this treatment seem normal to you? Are you satisfied that you ruined the life of a dog who was only unlucky enough to stay with you? Are you so greedy that you are capable of pushing a dog to the brink just to produce as many puppies as possible for you to sell? Are you that avaricious? Such an approach is a manifestation of the greatest wretchedness and callousness. The sad part is that this case is not the only one, although it is probably the most egregious. Even while this example is arguably the most severe, the unfortunate thing is that there are others like it. You are an enormous tyrant, and we believe that one day you will be held accountable for all the pain you have caused to innocent animals.
